Fragments of Time

March 2026

In the forty-day war between Iran and the United States–Israel coalition, life in Tehran was reduced to a fragile chain of survival moments.
Unlike many parts of the world where plans and certainty shape days and a clear vision of tomorrow, here the concept of the future collapsed under the pressure of ongoing conflict. Homes and minds alike were suspended in a state between destruction and stasis.
In such conditions, life was no longer grounded in long-term hope but defined by endurance, moment by moment. Living in the moment was no longer a philosophical idea; it became an imposed condition, enforced by war itself.
